Although it may be difficult to tell right now, your heating bill rates are now a bit lower.
The Government of Saskatchewan approved SaskEnergy’s adjustments to its commodity and delivery service rates, so as of Monday, November 1, residential customers will see their natural gas bills shrink by about $68 annually.
The lower commodity rate is because of lower market prices which brings the price to its lowest point in 16 years.
The commodity rate is lower, but the delivery service rate will rise by 8.6 per cent.
