The other morning on my way home from work I made a stop at Shoppers Drug Mart as I have so many times over the last dozen years or so that I have lived in the neighbourhood. After a while you get to know everybody after all that time of seeing the same faces. That day Jill was behind the counter when I had to grab a couple of prescriptions. She’s a cute little thing with a wonderful personality and a beautiful smile. As a matter of fact, they’re all great at that location.
Jill asked if I was going to have a nap that afternoon. Wow, do I look that tired? It turned out that Jill had read my blog from that morning when I wrote about how little sleep I had the night before.
I never know how many people read this darn blog or even why. It’s just my look at things. Sometimes it’s interesting and sometimes it’s not. As I like to say, “it ain’t rocket science.”
My friend Ed, up in Wiseton, told me one of the first things he does in the morning is read my blog. Thanks Ed, we’ll see you in Mexico!
I’ve run into a lot of people lately who read my blog. There’s no wrong way or right way to write a blog. It’s just stuff that happens to me or I find interesting. I’ve blogged about everything from dog poop to bad customer service to things I notice on the way to work every morning and everything in between.
So, thank you to all that read this blog on a daily basis. It is appreciated.
And thank you, Jill, Karen, and the rest of the crew at Shoppers in the Rosemont Shopping Center. Thanks for reading the blog and more importantly, for the great smiles I see whenever I come in to your store!
