Agribition is not just a show for livestock. It a show where exhibitors flaunt their products, and there are a lot of products to flaunt!
A short jaunt from my broadcast location at Warner Industries there is a Calgary company that has a product that is supposed to be great for leather. Sara sucked me in one day for a “shoe massage.” She grabbed a palm full of her product and gave my shoes a good rubbing. Then she sprayed water from a bottle to prove how well this product repels water. Not only is this product great for leather, but you can use it as a hand moisturizer as well. Wow! You can use it for leather and skin. Somehow that doesn’t sound very good for your skin, but there were a lot of people running around with a couple of tins of this stuff. My shoes still look shiny after two days!
Vendors are selling anything you can imagine. Not only are they selling products, but they’re giving away a lot of product as well. It seemed like just about everyone was carrying some kind of bag full of freebies. The one freebie I noticed was an orange yard stick. I don’t know which business was giving it away, but apparently, everybody decided they needed an orange yard stick. I can’t remember ever owning a yard stick, period. I know my mom and dad did, but I can’t remember them ever using it!
I must admit though, I did make one purchase. Brandon Basler and I both bought a set of booster cables. They were priced at one set for $15 or two for $25, so we both decided to save $2.50 and buy one each. Believe it or not, I have never owned a set of booster cables. I can’t even remember the last time I needed a set, but apparently I needed some more than I needed a product that is as good for leather as it is for your skin.
If your leather shoes or boots are in need of moisturizing, sorry, I can’t help. However, if your vehicle won’t start, I’m your man!
