For most of us, the recent cold weather is nothing more than something to complain about.
For others though, it can be a daily life threatening situation.Something homeless people have had to learn to cope with the best ways they can.
Regina Mobile Crisis Services is making sure they can get as many people as possible out of the cold.
Jan Thorson Assistant Executive Director for Mobile Crisis Services says they are part of a team trying to get everyone indoors during the winter months.
“We have a policy that no one goes without a bed, we’re part of the cold weather strategy which is a joint initiative between the Ministry of Social Services, Health and several other agencies.”
Regina is expected to reach just minus 17 Thursday with the windchill once again approaching minus 30.

Thorson added they are encouraging anyone in need to make sure they contact them, no matter how busy they are, they will do everything in their power to get you out of the cold.
