Regina motorists will end the year paying a little bit more for gasoline.
The price of fuel took a jump overnight Thursday and is sitting at 108.9 at most service stations.
Dan McTeague, a senior petroleum analyst with Gas Buddy DOT COM says U.S fuel supplies are coming at a premium at this time of the year.
He said by mid next week prices should trend back down closer to the dollar a liter mark.
“Into next week we should start to see prices climb down slowly as the threat of supply disruptions throughout the U.S. mid-west seems to be heading in a positive direction.”
McTeague says at this time of the year, we can expect a fluctuation in the price per litre of fuel.
