Traffic signals will soon be operational on Highway 6 at Armour Road/Inland Drive north of Regina.
Installation of the signals is now complete and a week-long “burn-in” period will begin Wednesday to help motorists become accustomed to the new signals and the accompanying speed reduction in the area.
During this period, the signals on Highway 6 will flash yellow and the signals on Armour Road/Inland Drive will flash red.
The traffic signals will become fully operational on Feb. 1.
With their installation, the speed limit in the vicinity of the Armour Road/Inland Drive intersection has been reduced to 70 km/h.
The installation of traffic signals at Highway 6 and Industrial Drive is expected to be completed this summer.
