For the second time in a week, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have lost of one of their linebackers to the NFL.
Last week, Jeff Knox Junior was granted his release before free agency so he could sign a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and on Friday, the Riders released soon to be free agent Otha Foster so he could sign with the Baltimore Ravens.
The 28-year old from Angie, LA played his college football at West Alabama. He spent the 2013 season with the Kansas City Chiefs before spending three years in the CFL with Toronto, Edmonton and Saskatchewan.
The 6’0″, 210 lb defender won a Grey Cup with Edmonton in 2015 and was the Roughriders’ defensive MVP in 2016.
