A new report says Regina’s economy continues to grow at a modest pace and the population in the Queen City is on the rise as well.
The vice president of Econmic Development Regina, David Froh, says the key indicators point to diversity as an important factor in Regina’s growth.
Froh says the vast majority of people who are immigrating to Regina are international economic migrants.
And Froh says they’re staying.
Froh expects increased hiring for jobs in Regina in the coming year.
He says population growth will continue and the unemployment rate remains low.
