Regina police have charged a 32-year-old man from the city in relation to two robberies and a shoplifting incident dating back to last year.
One of the robberies involved a firearm.
Tyler Thompson is facing a total of 13 charges after a business on the 100 block of Broad Street was held up on October 4, by two men, one carrying a bat and another a knife .
Then on December 4, officers were called to the 300 block of Albert Street after two men entered a restaurant with a hatchet, bear spray and long barreled rifle, demanded money then fled in a waiting vehicle.
The third event took place on December 30, when officers were called to the 4800 block of Gordon road after a shoplifting incident where the suspect pulled the fire arm and proceeded to steal stuff during the evacuation .
Thompson was arrested on February 27, without incident after police were called to the 1200 block of Pasqua Street for the report of a suspicious man going into back yards.
Regina Police are asking anyone with more information into these events to call them or Crime Stoppers as they continue their investigation.
