The city of Regina has upgraded its open-data computer program, which — according to city officials — creates a more user-friendly experience.
Erna Hall is Regina’s Deputy City Clerk. She says the upgrade allows the residents to see all the available data on one page, rather than searching or scrolling.
“We’re also being much more proactive about posting, and uploading data and information to our open data site,” explained Hall.
In 2012, the city of Regina became the first public institution in the province to launch a type of program that provides access to municipal information for residents.
The new site is also mobile-friendly.
