One day, plus 5 and then snow and a blizzard with temperatures dropping.
So is the life of the rare, timid prairie people. Just when we think we got it made! Spring is officially two weeks away! BOOM, this happens – a hiccup in the week.
All of our neighbours have been blasted by this, why wouldn’t we get it.
A weather system creeping up from Montana. And it might not be so bad, if it weren’t for the wind. Gad! I hate the wind.
The weekend weather was great. I hope you enjoyed being outside thru Saturday and Sunday. The Victoria Park skating rink closed and it looked like there was a nice crowd out to enjoy the afternoon. I was out on Friday night, it was nice not to have to wear a heavy jacket or boots! And of course the opportunity to throw the windows open and get some fresh air.
I think we are ready for the spring attitude to stay with us.
While I was suppose to be heading out of town today, I believe the safe place is staying put. Watches and warnings are put in place for a reason. Sometimes they are an over-exaggeration and other times not!
Coming up Thursday, the trip up to Saskatoon for a concert. Number 11 can be full of tricks when it comes to weather. By leaving earlier in the day, it should make for a good trip. No one wants to feel panic!
I have a theory – any kind of crappy weather is not so bad if you have more daylight to travel in! It helps to see where the ditch is! Who might be rolling up behind you at a rapid speed. I guess it helps with identifying things and places you are driving past that not unlike a ghost just sort of appear!
Keep your eyes peeled, hands on the wheel and if you just are not sure – stay home.
