Pelican Narrows RCMP have arrested three more suspects in connection to the shooting death of a 16 year-old boy on February 21.
Mark Michel died at the health centre in Pelican Narrows from suspected gunshot wounds stemming from an altercation that took place early in the morning on Feb. 21 in the small northern community.
The incident took place after Michel and a 17 year-old girl, who was not hurt in the event, left a residence that morning in the community.
One suspect was originally arrested later that day.
On Thursday RCMP arrested a 22 year-old man, a 19 year-old man and a 17 year-old boy, all three have been charged with first degree murder related to Michel’s death.
They made their first court appearances on Friday, all three suspects will remain in police custody until their next court appearances.
