After not selling any new season tickets for the last three years, the Saskatchewan Roughriders are once again doing so.
The Riders stopped selling season tickets three years ago as they started the process of their move from the old Mosaic Stadium to the new one citing the fact they wanted to make sure seats were available while transitioning current season ticket holders.
Those wanting tickets were put on a list. Riders vice-president of marketing Gregg Sauter says the team has started contacting those people to see if the interest remains.
The team isn’t sure how many tickets they’ll sell during the upcoming blitz, but they will go as far down the waiting list as possible.
The new season tickets will be available in different areas around the stadium.
Sauter adds those wishing season tickets can phone the Rider office to let their interest be known so they can be placed on the list.
