The order for the first six selections in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft will be determined Wednesday morning in Calgary as the lottery is held.
That lottery is for the six teams that did not make the playoffs with a team only able to move up two spots from their current position.
The Kootenay Ice have the best shot at winning after finishing with a league low 40 points. Other teams in the lottery include Vancouver, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Edmonton and Spokane.
The WHL Bantam Draft goes May 4th.
Players eligible for the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft will be 2002-born players who reside in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
