RCMP say the man they were looking for in connection with a death near the town of Wilkie in west-Central Saskatchewan has been located and charged.
On Tuesday, the body of Heidi Veit, an educational assistant at the town’s high school, was found on a property in the RM of Buffalo with RCMP saying they wanted to speak with Wesley Veit who may have information on the crime.
RCMP say Veit was found Wednesday night at a residence in the RM of Buffalo, and was taken into custody without incident.
He has been charged with first degree murder.
Veit is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on March 31st, 2017 at 09:30 a.m.
