So the big news of the day is that the NHL has decided that they weren’t going to send players to the Olympics in South Korea in 2018. Let’s be honest it basically boils down to money and those who aren’t getting any of it. My issue was the claim that at least 50% of Canadians didn’t want the NHL to send the players. According to an NHL poll apparently. Which I call bull on. Mainly because in the last Olympics we were changing bylaws around so that you could go to a bar early in the morning and drink beer and watch Team Canada. It’s usually the one time that get’s even non-hockey fans watching hockey. Oh well, I’m sure this decision won’t come back to bite anyone in the back side in the future.
