The opposition was again on the attack in the Saskatchewan legislature over cuts in grants in lieu of taxes to municipalities.
NDP critic Cathy Sproule says downloading 36 million dollars in cuts onto municipalities will push up property taxes.
She says the public feels betrayed.
Government relations minister Donna Harpauer says difficult decisions had to be made but municipal revenue sharing has more than doubled under the SaskParty.
She says the budget provides 257 million dollars in revenue to municipalities across Saskatchewan.
