Regina police have charged three men in their twenties with a variety of offences following an incident in the city’s east end that resulted in a home on Mullin Avenue being surrounded.
Just after 1:30 Tuesday afternoon, police responded to a call about a gunshot on the 400 block of Mullin with some suspects seen running into a nearby home.
While that was going on, a man with injuries showed up at the police station saying he had been in his vehicle on the 200 block of East Broadway when three men approached him demanding money,
Police say a round was fired through the vehicle’s windshield which did not strike the man who escaped the scene on foot with the suspects getting away with cash, cigarettes and other items.
Police gathered at the home where five men and two women were taken into custody.
25 year old Jesse Fink, 21 year old Dakota Netmaker and 20 year old Tage Nagy all made their first court appearance on the matter Wednesday morning.
