Regina Rams head coach Steve Bryce has a message for returning players who might be expecting an easy weekend at the team’s spring camp.
Bryce says there is no room for complacency as far as he is concerned, and while it may be easier for him because it is his second time around, it will not be easy for the over 100 players who will be taking part in the weekend camp at Leibel Field.
“We expect this to be a very competitive camp,” Bryce said. “We have made it clear to a lot of guys they are competing for their job with guys flying around. We are going to work them hard. We don’t want anyone to get comfortable.”
Over 100 players will be taking part in the camp which ends Monday with a scrimmage.
The Regina Thunder are also holding spring camp this weekend. Head coach Scott McAulay will be putting the team through the paces at the old Mosaic Stadium.
