Moose Jaw’s Pat Simmons has been named by CurlSask as its Director of High Performance.
He will now lead the CURLSASK High Performance Program and Provincial Champions Program. His mandate is to develop a Saskatchewan High Performance Training Centre and prepare our high performance athletes for their appearances on the national and international stages.
Simmons is a two-time Brier Champion with 9 Brier appearances, 2 World appearances, 2 Grand Slam Victories, and has competed at the highest levels of curling, honing his craft among the best in the world.
He will assume the position September 1.
The announcement was made at CURLSASK’s annual meeting in Saskatoon.
