The Canada-Wide Science Fair is back in Regina this week at the U of R.
Canada’s only national science fair see’s 500 finalists from 100 regional science fairs across the country.
Corey McCowan with the U of R says people can expect to see a wide range of projects at this year’s fair.
“We have some projects from Regina,” said McCowan. “Those will show how to convert waste to energy. We’ll also be looking at fertilizer. Generally, you are going to see a lot of health projects – in fact, there are some kids that are looking to cure cancer – quite honestly.”
The science fair will be open to the public on Thursday, until Sunday and is free to attend.
