Kamsack RCMP have now laid charges on a 19 year-old man from the Cote First Nation in regards to an incident at a school earlier this month.
On May 10th officers responded to the Chief Gabriel School for a complaint of a man brandishing a knife.
No staff or students were physically injured during the incident.
For safety reasons, school officials initiated their lock-down procedures.
Nineteen-year-old Lloyd Norman Straightnose has been charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
Straightnose will appear in court this summer.
