Yorkton RCMP are investigating after receiving reports of threats directed towards a female student via social media by an 18 year old woman who doesn’t live in the community.
The threat was received over the weekend, but reported Monday.
As a precaution, Yorkton Regional High School initiated their safety procedures and a hold and secure was enacted until the end of the day.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, 18-year-old Monica Tataquason is charged with two counts of uttering threats.
RCMP suspect Monica may be in the Regina area and there is a warrant issued for her arrest.
