It is the last chance for some on the Saskatchewan Roughriders roster to show Head Coach and General Manager Chris Jones why they belong on the opening-week roster Friday night.
The Riders will finish off the pre-season with a game against the BC Lions in an 8 o’clock start.
“We’ve got some guys who are veterans who have played very well and who have solidified positions and then certainly there are a couple of races that are yet to be decided,” Jones said. “We’ll let the game decide exactly who lands where.”
Questions going into the game include who will start the season as the number one running back as Anthony Allen and Cameron Marshall are competing for the job with Kienan Lafrance on the injured list.
The back-up quarterback spot is also undecided even though Brandon Bridge had a solid outing against Winnipeg throwing for over 200 yards and a touchdown in a 25-25 tie.
There are also some spots on the defensive side of the ball which need to be filled.
620 CKRM will have the game for you starting with the pre-game show at 5 o’clock followed by the play-by-play at 8 with Rod Pedersen and Luc Mullinder.
