The community of Westerra is continuing to grow and become more vibrant in Regina.
On Friday Emmanuel Care held an official sod turning event for Trinity Manor. The building will offer both personal and independent care for seniors.
Mayor Michael Fougere, who was on hand for the event says seniors care is something that is still greatly needed in the city, and is an important part of continued growth.
“It’s about growth,” Mayor Michael Fougere said at the sod-turning ceremony Friday. “There is a market for growth in this city and it’s very positive. So these are issues about growth – accommodating what is needed in an underserviced area of the city for seniors living in Emmanuel care.”
Archbishop Donald J. Bolen and Harvard’s CFO Mo Bunden were also present for the event.

The building is expected to open in the spring of 2019.
