Good news for those in Regina who have been hoping an IKEA store would be set up here.
While a store is not being established in Regina, the home furnishing giant has announced the launch of a collection point.
IKEA customers can now shop online for items and have them delivered to the collection point at 525 12th Avenue East for 79 dollars regardless of the size and value of their purchase. Customers still wanting home delivery can do so with delivery fees remaining the same, but IKEA Canada says this flat rate will mean a significant saving.
In a news release issued Thursday, IKEA Canada President Martha Smith says it is the company’s ambition to become more accessible to as many Canadians as possible.
IKEA already has a collection point in Saskatoon.
