A 37-year-old man and 25-year-old woman from Regina are facing charges related to theft and fraud as well as assault of a peace officer.
Last week police responded to a call on the 200 block of North Westpointe Estate in north Regina where officers believed a man on a Canada wide warrant was.
The wanted man, and a woman were found in a vehicle, officers were able to arrest the man after a short foot chase however the woman resisted and injured an officer during a fight.
Police eventually arrested her and the officer was taken to hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Brittany Irene Crevier and Tyler Curtis Gurskey are facing a total of 21 charges including assaulting a peace officer and resisting arrest.
Both suspects made their first court appearances on Monday.
