Regina Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for a potentially fatal drug they believe is possibly being sold as heroin.
Officers issued the warning after investigating two non-fatal overdoses last week that they beleive were caused by the unknown substance.
Police were called to the 1800 block of Osler street after learning two men, 47 and 41 both suffered overdoses early that morning.
Both men were taken to hospital but it is not known what caused their symptoms, however it is believed both men thought they were using heroin, and in fact took the unknown substance.
Until more is known about the substance Police are warning the public who choose to use drugs to be vigilant and choose their health over a high.
Police are also urging anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
