The Saskatchewan grainbelt has received a wide range of rainfall since the start of the growing season.
The latest figures from over 250 locations across Saskatchewan show a range of rainfall from 1 1/2 inches to almost 12 inches.
The driest spot in the weekly list is the RM of Lonetree, near Climax in the southwest corner of the province at 34 millimeters.
Many other RM’s in the southern grainbelt are dry, with a farm in the RM of Pense west of Regina reporting just 46 millimeters since April 1st.
The wettest spot is in the RM of Beaver River, about 650 kilometers northwest of Regina.
A farm in the far northwest near Meadow Lake has received 290 millimeters since April first.
