A semi-trailer hit a train Tuesday morning at the Highway 39 railway crossing near Roche Percee.
Estevan RCMP say they along with Estevan Fire and EMS were called to the crossing around 8:45 after the northbound semi hit the train which was heading west.
Witnesses say the semi failed to remain stopped at the crossing, and pulled out in front of the train.
The male driving the semi was looked over by EMS before being released. RCMP say he is facing charges.
No one on the train was hurt.
The area was closed to traffic for more than four hours, but is now re-opened with traffic going in both directions.
