Regina Transit is allowing bus users and those who maybe don’t ride the bus a chance to get 45 days of service for 30 days.
Starting Monday, people can buy an adult monthly pass and use it for 45 days instead of 30.
Transit director Brad Bells says more and more Reginans are starting to see what a good mode of transportation a city bus can be thanks to the free bus service provided for Rider games, and he is hoping that can translate into more Reginans taking the bus then using their car as they get to and from their destination especially in the summer.
Some will say it is too far for them to get to their nearest bus stop, but Bells says most Reginans are within 400 metres of a bus stop so that really isn’t an excuse/
The cost of a monthly bus pass is 82 dollars so purchasing one during this promotion and getting six weeks use out of it will save a rider 41 dollars.
