Saturday night will not only be a night to try and stay cool with the 30 plus degree temperatures we have experienced, but it will also be a night to keep an eye on the sky.
Environment Canada still has heat warnings out for southwest Saskatchewan, but there is a severe thunderstorm warning for the northern part of the province with severe thunderstorm watches in effect Saturday afternoon for places like Moose Jaw, Estevan, Weyburn and the Battlefords.
The Regina area is not under any severe weather watches or warnings at this time, but that could change as the night goes on.
The forecast for the Regina region calls for partly cloudy skies with a 60 percent chance of showers or thundershowers this evening.
The hot weather we have been dealing with will continue as the forecast is calling for sunshine with highs in the 28-33 degree range over the next week.
