Regina police say the driver of a mini-van is facing charges of disobeying a yield sign after an accident with a Regina Transit bus Saturday morning.
In a release, police say they received a call at 11 AM about the accident at the intersection of Argyle Street and 3rd Avenue.
The bus was going west on 3rd when the driver of the mini-van failed to yield at the intersection while travelling south.
The bus tried to avoid the collission by swerving, but in doing so, it struck a tree.
EMS came on scene to treat occupants of both vehicles with minor injuries, but no one had to be hospitalized.
