With temperatures expected to rise up to and above 30 – officials at Country Thunder Saskatchewan are reminding everyone about the importance of hydration and taking care of themselves.
Gerry Krochak, Director of Marketing and Media Relations for Country Thunder says they obviously have some concerns with every stop on a major tour, but the attitudes of Saskatchewan party goers with helping one another out is something they know will help them out through the weekend.
“People seem to have each other’s backs and they look out for one another,” he said.
“We’ve certainly seen instances of that, not only offering your neighbour a beer, but a bottle of water, or Gatorade,” he added.
Krochak says to remember to drink plenty of water, wear sun screen, a hat, and if you can help it stay out of the direct sun during peak hours.
