Two men are dead after their boat capsized on Lake Diefenbaker Thursday night during stormy conditions.
Outlook RCMP say they were called around 8:30 and with the help of the Elbow Volunteer Fire Department they tried to rescue the pair.
One could not be located while the other was pulled to shore but attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
The body of the second man was found Friday morning on the north end of the lake about 5 miles south of Coteau Bay.
While there were four to six foot waves on the lake with winds in the 60 kilometer an hour range, RCMP aren’t saying whether or not weather played a factor in the deaths.
The names and ages of the two men have not been released.
