Has the shut down of SEARS got you all giddy? Well, hold your horses, currently, it’s not that big of a deal.
I mean a DEAL. When a company is selling off, would you not think that the prices at some point would be slashed? I hardly think that 20 percent off is much of a savings. Some signs indicate 50 percent, not sure on what!
A walk today through SEARS gave me a sad feeling. The store has been flipped over by consumers; touching, feeling and opening everything in store. Employees are moving things from one part of the store to the next, all the time looking miserable. The items of interest are minimal when they are at full price, and easily obtained just down the mall at The Bay. And probably on sale!
The Bay is celebrating Christmas in July!
I ended up buying at Levi jeans jacket for $58.00. The jacket was $108.00, marked to $69.99. THEN, I had points from the Bay credit card. Of course, my card was at home! If you have id, behold, The Bay will sign you up with a temporary card. Good to know, it helps accumulate the valued points and in this case an extra $20 off. Plus its great for the impulse shopper!
An impulse purchase, YES! But I love it. You can`t go wrong with a Levi product.
This jacket, I wouldn`t have even looked for it at SEARS.
The Bay still wins over Sears. Sorry your closing out doesn`t make or break my day!
Branding is everything. The quality of product, the display, the employees, the store. I have shopped at both, but my positive experience lies with the Hudson Bay Store.
