Flyers came today! Boy, oh boy, are there deals. (School must be resuming soon!)
Use your imagination when purchasing for back to school and make it work for the Saskatchewan Roughriders Purolator Tackle Hunger game, which is this Sunday evening in Regina.
It doesn’t take much to help out. Consider how much you weigh; take the last 2 or 3 digits, turn that into food weight or a cash donation. Maybe weigh your whole family then divide that number by the number of people you’ve weighed. Have some fun figuring how much food you’ll bring to donate OR make a cash donation of that same number.
Here’s one for you. How many Tim Horton coffee do you drink in a week. Kevin Glenn knows Tim Horton’s – he owns a store!! Take that $2.36 per cup x 8 cups a week and donate that amount! You’ll never miss it! Amounts might be around $20.
Steve Compton, CEO of the Regina Food Bank would be impressed AND so would all those that use the food bank. Saskatchewan has always been very generous. This incentive is a real challenge across the CFL, who wouldn’t want the bragging rights to this. Edmonton Eskimo fans come out in droves, the Stamps had a pretty good run at it. Don’t let the Toronto Argonaut fans beat Rider Nation.
The challenge is out there.
The Grey Cup will be at Mosaic Stadium in the Coors Light Park (Confederation Park), make your donation, get a picture with the Cup (Canada 150) and wait to see if you win a signed Kevin Glenn Roughrider Jersey!
