Regina Mayor Michael Fougere says he is surprised by the announced retirement of Premier Brad Wall.
Fougere says the Premier worked hard for ten years for the province of Saskatchewan.

Fougere calls Wall a man of integrity who worked hard to improve the economy of Saskatchewan.
“Easy to get a hold of,” Fougere said. “Easy to talk to and easy to resolve issues. But we’re not going to agree on everything and things happen. Overall, he’s been a remarkable premier. He’s the best communicator I’ve seen in a political leader in a generation.”
Mayor Fougere says Wall pushed hard to bring his vision of economic growth and prosperity to Saskatchewan and worked hard to bring his vision of economic growth and prosperity as premier for ten years.
