Meadow Lake MLA Jeremy Harrison says he is no longer running for the leadership of the Saskatchewan Party.
On Friday, he withdrew his name from the contest, saying he will instead Scott Moe — who, at the time of Harrison’s announcement, had not formally announced he would be running.
Harrison resigned from his cabinet position as the Minister of Economy and announced a leadership bid on Aug. 19.
In a press release emailed Friday morning, Harrison said Moe shares Harrison’s own values and principles.
Tina Beaudry-Mellor, Ken Cheveldayoff, Gordon Wyant, and Alanna Koch remain in the race Sask. Party leadership.
