Two more statues now sit outside Mosaic Stadium.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders used their annual “Fan Day” Saturday to unveil statues of Ron Lancaster and George Reed.
Many fans were on hand to see the unveiling of the statues which are located at the stadium’s northwest corner just a Lancaster throw away from the Harvard 620 lounge.
As for “Fan Day”, it was once again a tremendous success as many supporters of the green-and-white, young and old showed up to watch the team practice before going through the concourse of the facility to collect autographs from their favourite player.
The day is a lead-up to the annual Labour Day Classic which will go Sunday afternoon at 2 against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
