So I’ve made no attempts to hide the fact that I love video games. It’s my main hobby and therefore main form of entertainment. Every once in awhile they introduce a new thing that you think might take off but don’t want to invest in.Couple of years ago that was motion control, the Nintendo with the stick you could accidentally put through the TV while bowling, now it’s VR virtual reality. The idea being that you put on the helmet, there is no way to not look like a goof with it, and your now in the game. Play a game about racing cars well now your in the seat directly, add a steering wheel and it’s a wonderful experience.
My main problems with VR in the past has always been the cost and the type of games with it. I can only really see it being interesting for a few types and trying to get an idea from youtube is a bad idea as I can get pretty sick trying to watch. So getting to try it out first hand was so much fun. So much I actually wanted to skip work and just continue messing around with it. The only problem, aside from cost still, is the realization of how many people used that head set before I got there.
