Regina Police say a 29-year-old man is facing numerous charges after a number of stolen vehicle incidents around the city.
One of the cases date back to December with two more taking place last month.
The first theft took place on December 12 when a 2013 Nissan Altima was stolen from the 2700 block of Winnipeg Street, police say it was recovered the next day damaged with a stolen license plate.
The next two took place in late August, a 2000 Ford Taurus was taken from the 2200 block of Rae Street and a 2017 Nissan Rogue was stolen from the 2600 block of Shooter Drive East.
Police say they were unable to locate a suspect until Wednesday evening when they observed a man matching their descriptions in a north Regina parking lot on the 500 block of Broad street.
After refusing arrest officers were forced to deploy a police dog, the man was then arrested and taken by EMS to hospital to be treated for resulting injuries before being moved to detention.
As a result Joshua Troy Kahnapace is now facing a total of seven charges, he made his first court appearance on Thursday.
