Yesterday morning after work I whipped over to Wheaton Kia to take care of the recall notices that I had blogged about last week. It turns out that my vehicle got a clean bill of health, plus a free oil change! Now, it’s time to take care of one of the greatest inventions ever, my remote start.
Last month, for the heck of it, I thought I’d try to start my car with my remote. Nothing happened, so I tried again. Again, nothing. I put it on the back burner, knowing I’d have to rectify the situation before colder weather started rolling in. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my command start. There’s nothing better on a cold winter morning than jumping into a vehicle that’s been warming up for 20 minutes while you shower and get ready for work. I want to make sure that baby is working and all set for action when the sub-zero weather finally arrives.
It’s that time of year. The push is on for the Friends of the Riders Touchdown Lottery. I’ll be over at Mosaic Stadium from 10:30 until 3:30 today and it’ll be my first foray into the Rider’s new digs. Then on Sunday I’ll be broadcasting from another place I haven’t been to yet. The grand prize show home for the Hospitals of Regina Foundation Home Lottery! Join me there Sunday from 12-4. Evans and I will be broadcasting our morning show live from that location on the morning of Sept. 21st!
Have a wonderful “Banjo Bowl” weekend!
