Federal Conservative leader and Regina MP Andrew Scheer wasn’t pulling any punches Tuesday when he delivered a noon-hour speech to Regina’s business community.
Scheer spoke at a Regina Chamber of Commerce Luncheon and he used the opportunity to denounce the federal Liberals proposed tax changes.
Scheer told the many in attendance there is no doubt as to why this is being done.
“When you have a federal government that is running 30 billion dollars worth of debt, with no plan on the horizon to pay it back, it is clear this is being done to fund Justin Trudeau’s out-of-control spending,” Scheer said. “That is the main driving force behind what he is trying to accomplish.”
Scheer says what the Liberals are doing is an attack on jobs and small business and is something you won’t see if the Conservatives can once again take power in the next federal election.
