Evacuees from Pelican Narrows in northern Saskatchewan have the option to head home now.
Chief Peter Beatty of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation has rescinded the general evacuation order after updates received from the province on the wildfire conditions.
Because of air quality concerns, those with health conditions along with mothers and babies, elders and their families will stay on in Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
All evacuees are required to check in at the Senator Allan Bird Memorial Centre in Prince Albert.
Those in Saskatoon can check in at the Henk Ruys Soccer Centre for a fuel card and any further instructions.
There is still a road block on the route home due to the wildfire, but there will be a series of convoys for vehicles from Highway 135 and 106 for 60 vehicles at a time.
Schools will re-open on Monday.
