In a game that University of Regina Rams Head Coach Steve Bryce described as “sluggish”, the Rams beat Alberta 28-18 at Mosaic Stadium Saturday afternoon.
“It was a very disappointing second half,” Bryce said. ” I told the guys after that it felt like a loss and that we have to get better right now.”
Noah Picton (pictured) was not disappointing on the afternoon as the Regina quarterback threw for 334 yards and two touchdowns–both to Mitch Picton.
The Rams, who came into the game as the number 6 ranked team in Canada, will be back at home next week looking to improve their record to 3-1 when they butt helmets with a University of Manitoba team beaten at home 76-17 by Calgary.
Game time next Saturday will be 2 PM and it can heard on 620 CKRM.
