Fans of the WHL in Saskatchewan wondering if they would be able to watch games on TV this year don’t have to wonder any more because the answer is yes.
At a news conference to promote the opening of a new season that starts Friday, it was announced Access Communications will once again do a series of Pats regular season games and playoff games as the team moves towards the Memorial Cup.
Access CEO Jim Deane says not only will the Pats be on local television, but the entire league will be as the season moves on.
“There has been a lot of interest surrounding the Regina Pats from La Ronge to Coronach,” Deane said. “We are very excited to partner once again with the Pats and a soon-t0-be-announced regional partnership that the league is embarking on to bring the Pats and the rest of the WHL to our subscribers”.
The first game on Access will be September 29 when Regina is in Moose Jaw.
