Regina Police say they used a taser on an uncooperative man, believed to be drunk, Wednesday night.
Just after 7:30 p.m., police attended to a business in the 300 block of McCarthy Boulevard North in response to a drunk man walking around the business carrying a knife.
When the man refused to drop his weapon, police decided to deploy the CEW.
The man dropped the knife and was safely taken into custody.
38-year old Clayton Kinequon of Regina is charged with carrying a weapon dangerous to the public and will appear in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on November 2nd.
