New data from the 2016/17 school year shows that the graduation rate to 76.5 per-cent, up from 75.6 per-cent a year earlier.
The graduation rate is also up for First Nations, Metis and Inuit students to 43.2 per-cent, up from 41.9 per-cent last year.
Numbers are considerably higher when it comes to the provincial extended five year graduation rate at 84 per-cent overall and 59.8 per-cent for First Nations, Metis and Inuit students.
In 2014 the Education Sector Strategic Plan was approved by every school division in Saskatchewan.
Its goal is to increase the provincial grad rate to 85 per-cent.
