Miranda Lambert performed in Regina Friday night at the Brandt Centre, but it was clear the 33 year old award-winning songstress was not at the top of her game.
While performing many of her hits, Lambert did address the crowd saying it has been a tough week because of the deadly shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas, and the death of Tom Petty.
At one point during the show, Lambert started to cry and apologized to the crowd as she wiped away tears.
On Saturday morning, Lambert announced that a scheduled show for Winnipeg on Saturday night had been cancelled due to illness.
The singer had performed in Edmonton and Saskatoon after the tragedy in Las Vegas, and like she did in Regina, she did tell those crowds that it was tough for her to get through the performances.
The show in Winnipeg was to have been her last Canadian date on the “Highway Vagabond” tour.
